Oat, seed and Parmesan Biscuits


  • 250 g oatmeal (oats finely blended in food processor)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 75g parmesan cheese
  • 100g cold, unsalted butter
  • 2 ½ tsp milk
  • Sunflower seeds, poppy seeds & sesame seeds


  1. Preheat oven to 200 C. Grease 2 baking trays.
  2. Process oatmeal, baking powder, cheese and butter in food processor until combined. With the motor
  3. Running add milk until mixture forms a ball.
  4. Roll out dough to approx 3-4 mm thick on a sheet of baking paper. Scatter top with seeds and gently press in with a rolling pin. Cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter or a glass. Place on trays, bake 12 mins or until lightly browned. Once coked, leave on trays a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
